"Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography."
- George Eastman

WINDOWS & REFLECTIONS

This collection of images is one of my favorites. There’s something endlessly fascinating exploring how light and glass interact with a subject. The way it dances on the skin, illuminating and shading, creating contrasts that change the entire image simple my moving just slightly in any direction. Passing through obstructions and shadows of clouds, trees, shades, and curtains to make a unique moment begging to be captured.

"It is one thing to photograph people. It is another to make others care about them by revealing the core of their humanness."
- Paul Strand

PORTRAITS & PROFILES

My primary objective is to help you feel seen and understood. My favorite photos to make are the ones that are honest and human. Telling the truth as beautifully as possible. Honest, cinematic & human!

"I take the same picture twice
First, with my heart, then camera."
- Biju Karakkonam

LIFE & FAMILY

From weddings, graduations, engagements. and elopements to family time,, milestone birthdays, reunions, and beyond I use a blend of cinematic composition and a documentarian eye to create visual memories of your important moments. I love taking behind the scenes approach to fade into the background and capture honest, authentic moments that could be hung over the mantle and framed on your desk for years to come.

The two most engaging powers of a photograph are to make new things familiar and familiar things new."
- William Thackeray

STAGES & SOUNDS

The music industry was home for the first half of my career and still holds an incredibly special place in my heart. I started touring when I was 17 and the road was my home on and off for over a decade. I love capturing artists and creatives in their element both on and off stage. From the studio, to the club, to the stadium, documenting the highs, lows, and all the magic in between.

The way that light hits objects in life, three-dimensional objects before you photograph them is really the story of photography."
- Rashid Johnson

SIGHTS & SCENES

There’s a whole big beautiful world out there. While my lens is usually pointed in a more human direction, there’s something special about slowing down for a moment to observe the landscapes around me. Here’s a handful of my favorite views from some of my recent excursions. More to come.
